Dora Sigala

Before becoming a full time elementary and junior high teacher, Mrs. Sigala worked part time in the Calvary Christian Academy Pre-School and served as a substitute teacher while coaching High School Volleyball. Mrs. Sigala is fluent in both English and Spanish. She has over five years of experience in early childhood education and over 15 years coaching experience. While at CCA Coach Sigala has served five years as District Vice president, earning 'Coach of the Year' in 2010. Her teams have won the following honors:   

  • Three play-off appearances, 2010, 2011, 2013,
  • District and Regional Champions  in 2010,
  • Runner up in Area 2010
  • Runner up Champions in 2011, 2013
  • In 2014 school history was made when two of her athletes received athletic scholarship’s to college in volleyball.

 Mrs Sigala loves CCA because of the Christ centered environment and great parent support and involvement. Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Mrs Sigala is happily married  for 10 years to her high school sweetheart Jose. They have two beautiful daughters named Bella and Olivia, both students at CCA.  In their spare time they like to spend time with the family, run in races, do crafting, and going to the beach.
